Hello!

I am trying to find information on how to set up a port proxy. Here is exactly what I am trying to do:

Computer 1 has a program running that needs access to port 2600. The local network blocks all ports except for 80. So the computer connects to my computer at home through port 80 to forward the packets to the internet on port 2600.

I am looking on how to set it up.

Thanks beforehand.

What are you using port 2600 for? That is the port number for the "Digital Rootbeer" trojan! It's also the port used for some HP software. Are you using any HP software?

Your question is not very clear. I think you are saying that the computer at your home is acting as a host and you want to connect to it from another computer. That computer is on a network that blocks all traffic not on port 80, yes?

Try setting up the port forwarding on your home router to forward anything on port 80 to port 2600 to the home PC.

The program is EVE online

I need to pretty much bypass the firewall block . I know there is a way to have my computer at home ack as a middle man (through port 80) to have my laptop at port 2600 connect to game server at port 2600

What you want is any newer NAT. Nats are really PATS as they translate not only network address's but also map ports in most cases. The other end has to re-map back 80 to 2600.

So what would you suggest using as the NAT?
