I set up my server, as a gateway, and everybody connected to it has internet jut fine, but I was a little curious on how exactly to control their bandwidth.

I have this program but it has a very short trial period, and I plan on using this machine for a long time.

Any suggestions or answers would be appreciated, Thanks.

If you are willing to try it, there is a Linux OS that is easy to use called ClarkConnect. It has a bandwidth limiter built in. It has quite a few other nice features that are hard to find in Windows such as Privoxy.

Check it out at www.clarkconnect.com

The forums are VERY helpful if you ever have any problems. Everything is controlled from a web-based administrative page. I used to use ClarkConnect as my gateway/web server/mail server. I switched to SME for some features ClarkConnect couldn't provide, but CC is a great OS in my opinion.

Hope this helps!
