Solved connection to my wireless

Specs: Windows 7

my wrt120n cisco wireless router keeps booting me off my network.....it is next door....usually have a great signal.....but fades in and out.......the box for router says its for wireless n.....all i can get is g........can i manually change the settings and should i get a signal booster or a bigger and better wireless router? then i go power cycle my routers and modem and it will sometimes work and sometimes not.....wifi is next door but less than 50-60'.......

To use wireless N, your laptop's wifi device must be compatible with wireless N.
Evidently it is not compatible so you can only use wireless G, there is nothing you can do to make it compatible, but you can buy a wireless N USB wireless adapter and use that instead of the built-in wifi.
