|Check in Device Manager and make sure your network interface is working properly. |
If it is, you will next want to check your patch cable that connects your computer too your internet device (be it a SOHO router or the modem) to make sure it still works properly.
If the cable is good you will then want to check and see if you unistalled the TCP/IP stack while you were uninstalling other things. If you didn't, I would recommend at this point you uninstall TCP/IP and then reinstall it and see if your internet doesn't start working.
