Connection sharing between vista and eMac

Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, 2.001 GHz / 2037 MB

I have a new laptop running Vista, and am connected wirelessly to my router.

I have recently pulled out an old eMac, but can't find my wireless usb wifi adapter to hook up this old eMac to the internet, and none of the Mac techs in my area can help me find a replacement.

I know that internet sharing exists on Vista, and I am wondering if it is feasible to somehow share this connection with my old-ass eMac.

So far I have enabled connection sharing, and have run an ethernet cable between the two units.

Does anyone know how this can work? It would seem crazy if I couldn't get it to work.

I think I'd use analogx's free proxy instead of ICS. It doesn't suffer the silly ip address issue that MS has.
