I have a HP wireless Laptop which connects to a private wired & wireless network @ work and a wireless ADSL modem/router @ home. When at work I have to manually assign IP/Subnet & gateway in order to be part of network and access the net - If i leave things as they are when connecting at home i have no network or net access- until i change to assign ip address automatically - is there any way i can configure the laptop so it keeps the settings for work and automatically connects to the wireless network at home.

How configure TCP/IP to access to different networks 1. if all networks use dhcp, logon locally.
2. if one company uses static ip and another use DHCP, use alternative configuration. 3. Doesn't matter which case, you can always use netsh.exe switch the settings without rebooting.
