Hello. I have a question. I have two wireless routers. One wireless router is connected to the internet (via DSL router). Lets call this "A".
I have computers on the other side of the house which i would like to connect to my network so that they can acess the internet as well. Wiring up the house would be a problem. So what I was wondering is, can I set up my other wireless router (lets call it "B") so that it will use "A" as a gateway to the internet? Its kind of like hooking up A's "wan" port to the dsl router and having B's "wan" port connected to A so that all machines connected to B can access the internet. But since i dont want to use wires to connect A to B, will this work? Both routers have "Bridge" mode if it helps. FYI Router A is SMC Barricade WirelessG router and B is Microsft WirelessB Basestation.

Try setting router B to bridge mode to make it act as a repeater for router A. Router A would still be providing dhcp services and internet access. Router B would just be extending the signal range.
