Hi,
a)
I want to connect few computers to the internet, through two routers, with one router cascaded to another router. Both routers are wireless router.
Can any one provide step by step process how to do it?
b)
Does it matter if I have combination of netgear and linksys or is it necessary that both routers should be of same make? There are few confusing discussions on the web, none being so clear. thus clarity is number one priority.
Thanks

A) click on my name above and look for my "Add a second router" how-to guide. When you find it, read it.
B) It doesn't matter if they're different brands.
Just FYI, unless you have a very specific reason for using a second router I highly recommend not bothering and using a switch. A switch requires no setup.

The question is why? What are you hoping to achieve?
If you are trying to extend the wireless range then it depends.
If you ware wanting to give more computers Internet access then there are easier ways than using two routers.
One being Netgear and the other Linksys shouldn't make any difference but it could. Knowing the model numbers would make it a lot easier to work out what to do.
Stuart
