To connect 2 pcs together and connect to the internet..
well all u need is a direct link cable
which will be connected to your port.
Make sure both your pcs have the same port.
Then you can use a software which enable you to use 2 pcs and one modem line to connect to the internet. Might be slow though.

Actually i discover the software in a hackers site.
I am not sure it will work because i never actually used it before.
by the way, when u attach 2 of the computers together through the direct link cable.
You will also be needing a software called..
Laplink. I am not sure whats the current version for it now. It is used to chat to the other computer and you will also able to transfer data.
:) Good Luck

if you want to connect the two pc's together for the best results you need to use a cross over cable from the NIC's in each machine and then use internet sharing over the network to get online.

I have two computers in our church, I want to be able to share files from one to another. They are only about 20 ft max apart. One runs Windows ME the other XP. Is there some inexpensive way to connect the two computers? Only one of the computers has a NIC card but of course both have USB ports Is there a way to connect through USB's?
