hello guys

My question is how do I connect two computers up together so I can share files between them.
I'm using an Ethernet cable which I have connected both computer up with, but I don't no where I have to go in order to access his hard drive and vice versa.
Any information you could give would be great or even direct me to a tutorial would be better.

Thank

Do you have a Xover (crossover) Ethernet cable ? a patch cable WILL NOT suffice !

Depending on the type of NICs installed you don't need a crossover cable. A patch cable may suffice.

Check out the links picohat provided.
