Connecting token ring to ethernet

I have a 24 port 10 mbps ethernet hub that I want to connect to a 16mbps utp token ring MAU. Is it in an way possible to connect the hubs together?

You can connect them - but they will not work - If you want machines on TR and Eth, to talk to each other - they cannot without either a Bridge ( a two interface device to transmit frames between the two seperate LANs ) or a router (for IP trafic usually or any other traffic either encapsulated within the Frames ) A token Ring card in a PC and an Ethernet with IP forwarding enables will Route
or you can purchase a small Token Ring to Ethernet bridge (approx $100)
however if there are massive broadcast on the Ethernet LAN you can then pass these into the Ethernet

Summary: You'd need a genuine router ($1500-$2000) to strip the token-ring encapsulation and re-encapsulate with ARPA. There's also a timing issue with 16mbs to 100/200 mbs. Far cheaper to buy ethernet cards...
