Group,
I have tried nearly everything I cam inagine to connect to an old 1000 series ISDN router. It powers on fine, has a memory card, one console, one LAN and one ISDN port. Lan cable is attached showing a link as well as a cros-connect cable to my laptop. No matter what I can't get to a setup or login screen, never mind even having to deal with a user name/pswd. Used SSH an Hypertem....nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

I could be wrong but don't you use a patch cable between PC and router rather than crossover? I thought crossover was used between "like" devices such as 2 PCs or 2 routers or router & Switching hub.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Cross-over should be equivalent to the console cable as decribed above and provides a direct connection. Straight-through cable feeds to a hub or switch device. I'm using the cross-over cable as my console connection but do not get into the router which leaves me puzzled.
