Subject: Connecting to Cisco routers
OS: Cisco 1700

Comment:

I want to simulate a T1 line using the CSU/DSU directly between two Cisco 1720 routers that are right in front of me. Any ideas if this can be done? How?
Thanks.

You would need on each Cisco router one serial port and then you would need a DTE and DCE cable to connect the both togther.

Note

On the DCE side you need to setup clocking, then configure your routes for routing.
