Comment: I want to simulate a T1 line using the CSU/DSU directly between two Cisco 1720 routers that are right in front of me. Any ideas if this can be done? How? Thanks.

Reply: (edit)You would need on each Cisco router one serial port and then you would need a DTE and DCE cable to connect the both togther. Note On the DCE side you need to setup clocking, then configure your routes for routing.
