Is there any wireless hardware out there to connect my PC to my wireless modem? My PC and my modem are not close to each other and it would be a pain to hook up a wire between them. Is there any way I can do this? Also, I cannot move my modem.... thanks!

Wireless modem? Are you sure? Usually you get a regular modem which you then buy a wireless router. This in turn allows you to connect wirelessly to the internet. Provided your laptop/pc has wireless :-)

yes, i have at&t uverse - where they only install a wireless modem (crazy huh?). I have no problem with this because I mainly use my laptop, except my laptop has vista and my PC has XP. Some of my programs for my business only work properly on my PC (due to XP). I can run an ethernet cord to the PC, but it would be a pain the rear. Do you know if there is a USB wireless modem hookup for a PC or something like this?
