he i have a c702 compack notebook i want to transfer data to my pc but i dont think i have 9pin or 25 pin any of com ports on my laptop which other method can i use for transfer any other cable (rj45)or connection method will do i checked for com port insted found a 15 pin kind of D shaped port on my laptop what is that for

Well it's just simple network your laptop to your desktop. Then Share your laptop's hard disk. Just remember to scan your computer after just to make sure no Virus have been transfered
