I have an Acer Aspire 5810TZ, but can only use dial-up in my house, as I only have a regular phone line. My laptop only has a connection for an Ethernet wire, not a regular phone wire. Is there some kind of adapter I could use??

There are USB modems. Speed will be slow.
Also USB serial port adapters if you have a regular modem.
