All I want to do is transfer my music from my desktop to my laptop but I don't know how to do it. My desktop is Windows XP and my laptop is Windows Vista. I set up a network through my desktop but I can't see the desktop files on my laptop's network places and vice versa. My laptop is a wireless internet connection and my desktop is a wired connection that is plugged into the router and then into a modem. The workgroup for both machines are the same. I don't know what else to do. Any insight is greatyl appreciated.

Do you have File and Print Sharing enabled?
