Connecting 2 DSL routers on a single line

Specs: Windows xp
I live in a double storey house i have a phone line which provides the services of broadband+ IPtv. My internet is set on first floor where i have my computer. Tv is on the ground floor. Is it possible to connect 2 different routers one for broadband and other for IP tv. Another thing is that when sometimes i run internet on the ground floor it requires a DSL filter but on top floor it runs without DSL filter

For information on how to connect a second router click on my name above in my response and read my "how-to" guide titled, "add a second router to your LAN".

You'll want to connect the two routers using the "LAN port to LAN port" scenario.
