I'll try and explain everything here for you!
We have two EPOS till systems connected to a back office machine via Ethernet through a router. This acts as a server for both tills (which run Windows XP Pro).
We also have a second machine in the office which is permanently left switched on. This has a wireless ADSL router connected to it as well as the CCTV system which is constantly recording.
What I want to do sounds quite simple and easy and I'm sure you can guess what it is!
I have a wireless USB dongle that came with the wireless router. I want to connect the computer in the back office to the wireless router without interfering with the wired network.
I really need help sorting this out! Please! If you can help, there is free accommodation and a meal here for you!

Read the manual for the best information.
My guess would be to do something like this.
Basically you install the usb network adapter and it's software. Then you hopefully have two networks that are not in the same subnet. That means that the IP address and subnet mask of one lan (wired) is different from the subnets of the other lan (wireless). If not then use what they call private ranges. Then you'd have to access the camera with it's application or browser.Read up on wireless security before you start. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/technetmag/issues/2005/11/SecurityWatch/default.aspx

Okay, I'll try that this afternoon if its quiet and let you know how I get on. I'm really new to networking but that does sound like it should resolve the problem. Thanks!
