I'm a bit stumped by this. I have installed a wireless network linking 3 PC's and a note book. One PC is wired to the router all others are wireless. All new components are Belkin 54g 125. Setup went fine except for one PC. In this case signal strength is excellent and the PC is able to ping and get a reply from the router. It can even ping web sites and get a reply. Entering a web address in IE, however, results in the "can not find server" message. I have reinstalled the Wireless software and device....no joy. I have reinstalled Internet Explorer...no joy. I have even reinstalled XP!!..no joy.
Belkin support have drawn a blank on this, their last suggestion was to reinstall IE.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
PS I got a feeling I'm gonna kick myself when I get the answer.

If you can ping addresses by hostname, that pretty much eliminates the router, as you can make connections to the web server, and DNS is working. Try reducing the MTU size on the wireless NIC. Also look for a possible firmware upgrade for the NIC, and updated drivers.
