Hi,

I was wondering if you could please help me out? I'm in the military and I'm heading for Turkey for a 15 month remote assignment. I was wondering if it is possible to host a game via TCP/IP direct with my my son and my daughter who will remain in the United States while I'm overseas.

I realize some of the newer games allow for TCP/IP connection but some games do not is there another program, way, or work around solution I can use to to connect to them with?

I plan on taking my Win98 system while they will have the WinXP system

Thanks to all in Advance

Certainly it's possible. Mostly it depends on the game. Generally speaking, one person initiates the game, the other connects to the "server's" IP address. I recommend you look into the multi player options of all games you wish to play and find out what you can for initiating internet based games like you're talking about.

When I online game with friends in remote locations we use ICQ to pass along the IP address of the machine hosting the game.
