Connect USB device to multiple PCs?

Some background:
I am trying to connect my HP Psc 1315 printer to both my PC and my MacBook depending on the situation. I can't do it over our wireless network because there isn't a HP printer driver that supports network printing for my mac even if a windows computer is on (dumb eh)? However, there is a driver for the HP printer on the mac that allows local printing.
My question:
I'd like to leave my HP printer connected to the PC but also have the option of connecting it to my Macbook without unplugging the mac. My first thought was a USB splitter. I'm not sure, however, whether I can buy a cheap mini hub splitter (like http://www.uxcell.com/uxcell/retail... or whether I need to buy a USB switch (like http://sewelldirect.com/usb-share-s... . I'm hoping I can buy a cheap hub splitter and be done with it.

Most people set up the printer on the pc and share it across the lan. As long as the pc is on and connected to the mac via a lan you just print to it. This assumes that you setup the networked printer on the mac to be the pc's shared printer.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
