I need to connect a Mac G3 to two PC Windows 98 (already on a network via ethernet hub) How can I add the Mac to these?
Thanks

I have to be honest with you, it can be done however there will be major computability problems, you can join a Amstrad CPC464 to a 1ghz NT Server and sharing a broad band web connection. But is it worth it?
If you are convinced then a programme called “Dave” is the only thing I have heard of DAVE is the first and only cross-platform networking solution of its kind. DAVE uses the fast, industry standard TCP/IP protocol instead of AppleTalk and is designed specifically for the Apple Macintosh. To find out more goto:-

Hope this helps.

Adam is right in saying that that there are problems in using Mac to pc connections but it can be done with a better program than DAVE,
Dave is an unsteady programme with a lot of problems however there is another programme that is a lot more steady
its call PCMACLAN by Miramar the only problem is its £180goto

For more detailsAlso there is a complicated way do network with out software email me form more details

Thanx I have checked out this software and it is alot more stable!
There are still meny problems however it's much better than Dave.

If all you want to do is transfer files between the mac and the PCs, it might be simpler to obtain an FTP server program for either the Mac or the PC and then use FTP to transfer the files back and forth. This is acceptable if you don't have lots of transfers. If you need to share disks or a printer, this won't work (obviously).
