Hello all, I am having some serious difficulties establishing a stable network connection here.

I have a network device (a debit machine), that connects only via a network cable.

I have a computer that connects to the internet via a wireless network.

My goal is to allow my debit machine to connect to the installed network card card on the computer and be able to access the internet from there.

You have no idea how much pain you will remove if you can help me!

Did you talk to the debit machine technical support about this? Might want to find out if its even possible using their equipment.

Otherwise you use a crossover network cable to connect it to your lan port. You engage ICS [internet connection sharing] on your pc between the wifi and wired connections.

For the ICS how to google ICS

The debit machine allows me to modify the IP settings so I think it should work.

I am waiting on a crossover cable to be delivered to set it up. I will let you know how it goes once I do.

This solution has entirely resolved the problem. One thing I needed to do was enable a network bridge between the LAN and wireless connections, which was easy. I could not be happier. I am deeply grateful.
