Comment:

At home my PC is set to obtain an IP address automatically.
At work I need to define which IP address and subnet my PC uses. Is there a way to "tell" the wireless card to use a seperate configuration when it sees the different routers? Can you use profiles to do this?

This is what wireless profiles are about IF your wireless card supports them.

This is not what a hardware or user profile can do.
