i am adding a wired router,during configuration i must choose between PPPoE,Dynamic,Static
connection type. i have broadband cable isp

I guess you must be using your own router, since those supplied by your cable provider are already configured correctly.

Most cable internet services use Dynamic, but ask your cable provider to be certain.
You could try all three of course, since only one of them will work. But much better to ask your provider.

Setting your router to dynamic will allow it to get online. PPPoE is used for DSL. If you had a static IP, your ISP would have provided you the information.

Most likely, your cable modem is doing all of the authentication and is receiving the Public IP from the ISP; it is then performing NAT and handing out a Private IP of either 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x and is handing that out via DHCP (Dynamic).
