| could it be that to many are connecting at the same time |
I suppose that is possible. My experience with too many people attempting to connect to an AP at the same time is when the AP reaches it's max number of users, it drops an existing connection when attempting to connect a new device. You end up with people unable to stay connected. Not the unit freezing. Have you looked to see how many people are connecting to it at one time? If so, how many?
That's not to say it isn't possible that's what's doing it. I've never worked with the equipment you mentioned so can't say.
or that someone is using equipment that freezes it
If nobody is running point-to-point sharing programs and hogging bandwidth doing up/downloads, then this isn't as likely.
It could be the unit needs to have it's firmware upgraded. Have you checked that? If not, look and see what version you're presently running then hit the manufacturer's website and see what the latest is. If you don't have the latest, download and install it on the devcies and see if the issue goes away.
Lastly, it could just be a hardware failure. If nothing else fixes the issue, it may just be time to replace the bad unit.
It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the captain of my soul.
