We have a laptop running vista,and have set up a modem router which connects to PC via LAN. Cannot get laptop and pc to recognise each other to enable file/ settings sharing, would be grateful for any pointers, I think we've tried the obvious. Thank you PS Internet connection is fine on both machines
Summary: network neighborhood is not the end all be all of networking. just because your computers don't "see" each other doesn't mean they are not there. make sure that file sharing is enabled. win 9x machin...
Summary: I am trying to connect 2 computers using a hub. I bought an extra network card, since i have a dsl internet connection. Everything is connected fine, but the computers are not seeing each other at all...
