I just got a netgear wireless router. I hooked everything up fine, all of the computers can ping each other but none of them can be found in the workgroup. They are all a member of the same workgroup, all have good IP's, they all use netgear products and all have files and things to share. I used to run a wired network without any problems the only thing that has changed is the router and the pc's are using the wireless cards instead of the wired nic's. The only thing I have not tried yet is to access the router config page from all of the other computers. I have searched around and found many people have had the same exact problem but I have not found any answers

Common problem with a common answer...most people think that connecting via IP means they should be able to see other computers via the workgroups. Workgroups is Microsoft, while IP is generic. Workgroups recognize computers via NetBEUI (also NetBIOS)...NOT by IP. So for your computers to see each other you must go in to CONTROL PANEL, select Networking, and add the protocol NETBEUI. Do this for all computers in your workgroup and they will all show up.
