Buddy asked me a question that has us both puzzled...Two computers in a four computer workgroup won't ping themselves, however they will ping the other computers in the workgroup. Anyone have an idea what could be the cause for this?

The obvious thing would be firewall which SP2 turns on by default.

Can you ping 127.0.0.1? If not, TCP/IP is
likely screwed up. Have you been playing around with the network protocols?
