I've been having a ton of problems getting online in my apartment. They use LightLink and for a while my computer wouldn't even go online, then it did for a few hours at a time. A lot of the time when I go on the Internet, LightLink tells me I am "jailed" because I have "Too many simultaneous open source connections." How do I fix that? I ran every virus scanner program I could find and they come up clean. I ran AVG, Stinger, and McAfee along with AdAware. This is really frustrating because I need my computer to do my schoolwork. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me get this straightened out as soon as possible.

what did they say when you called them to ask for help troubleshooting the problem? did they just tell you there's a problem and offered no help? talk to their tech support... that's first.

They told me to run adaware and an anti virus program. If that didn't work then they want me to bring the computer to them but it's pretty expensive.
