I'm trying to network my 4 computers. I'm using a Linksys WRT54G router. Two computers are win 98 and two are win xp. I gave each one an IP address but I can't ping none of the computers. None of them has any problems connecting to the internet. They just can't communicate to each other. I must have not done something right. Can someone get me a detail instructions how to setup a network?

All clients must have the same workgroup name and if you have software firewalls on any of them, either disable these or set them to see IP Range 192.168.0.1 through 192.168.255.255 as "local" or "trusted".
(WinXP by default enables its software firewall when installed so you may not know your XP boxes have firewalls up.)
