Computer and router report different link spd

Hey all,

I have a 10/100/1000 router (Cisco/Linksys RVS4000). I have 2 computers behind it, one Windows one Linux, and both report the network link is up at 1000Mbit. The router, however, reports both connections are up at 100Mbit. What gives? Which is correct? What would cause this discrepancy?

Haha, thanks, I'm definitely checking the right connections. In Windows I only have the one, the router only has 4 ports, and in Linux whenever the link is connected/disconnected a line is written to the dmesg log.
