Client PC unable to browse internet

Hi Guys,

My current working place have about 20-50 computer and one Server running WIn 2000 Advanced server. My problem is that all of the client PC are unable to browse internet. I checked the server and i found out that there is no Domain and Active Directory running only Routing and Remote access running. So I there any way that I can do to make sure all the client PC able to browse internet?.oh by the way i have set the gateway for the client PCs with server ip.

Hi Muhammad,

The current setting is all the PC connect the internet via server and i intent to keep it that way. Below are how the network connects to each other ADSL MODEM>SERVER>SWITCH>Client PCs. The server have 2 lan ports which one connect to the modem and the other one connect to the switch. I've tried everything that i can but still all the clients PC behind the server unable to connect to internet

Have you tried to see the set up of your switch or router? I think that this concern on how you set up your computer.

hi,

I finally managed to connect the client pc to internet by redo the routing and remote access function. But only for a while after that i cannot browse to internet but i can still ping to yahoo or google for the client pc...plus this time the server also unable to browse internet...please help!!

Is your name is Horizon?Routers are conected to ISP,then switch then server and then client.Use microsoft forefront gateway to configure server.Check the configuration of your network card.
The standard gateway must be the IP address of the router.
Also check the DNS settings on the server.
