My shares are setup correctly and I am not using domain. There is also no IP conflicts on the server. services.exe did give an error when booting up. What kind of error did you get by services.exe?

What kind of viruses were on your server?
Have you checked a virus library to see, how to remove such viruses completely.
Mostly viruses also make changes to the registy or to some INI-files, hosts file or whatever.

Was there a system file infected by a virus and your anti virus software has quarantained such file so that it is missing by windows right now?

Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!
