Comment:

I am trying to add a static route to the routing table of a cisco 771m isdn router. The command i am using is:

set ip route de 172.31.31.0/24 ga 150.150.18.206

I keep getting the following error:

Value outside of acceptable range, adjusted ROUTE

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I haven't used one of those guys in a loooong tome (with a good cause) but do you have a valid route to 150.150.18.206 in your routing table on the router in question?

The syntax certainly looks right. I know you can specify the RIP propogation and metric too as part of the command. I believe they are optional but have you tried re-entering the command specifying these two values?

Hope this helps
