I got this switch from a friend, when i power it all the lights turned on and solid. nothing also shows up at terminal(prompt)

GREEN: STAT, UTIL, DUPLX, SPEED
ORANGE: SYST, RPS
All solid, no blinking
I'm not 100% sure but I think this may be an issue easily remedied. I did a quick google search (amazing tool that google!) and found the following document:

You're going to want to start reading around the following heading:

I woudl copy the above and search it inside the document.
Alternatively, you could do some googling yourself or, you could join a Cisco forum (google for that) and ask someone in that forum your question.
