Yep. Plug into the console port with the cable provided. Disconnect the power cable. While holding the mode switch on the front, turn it on. Hold it until the light above port 1 is no longer lit. You'll get some text telling you the load cycle was interrupted, and a list of 3 commands. Enter "flash_init" Enter "load_helper" After those finish processing, type "dir flash:" " prompt, enter "en" At the "switch#" prompt, enter "rename flash:config.old flash:config.text" Enter "copy flash:config.text system:running-config" -At "Source filename [config.text]?" press return - At "Destination filename [running-config]?" press return Now change the password: Enter "conf t" Enter "no enable secret" Enter "enable password " Press Ctrl-Z to exit and save, Enter "wr mem" to write back to flash.
