Heres the problem, I bought a cisco 2501 router at an auction to practice for the ccna exam. I finally got a hold of the cables for the connections.
RJ-45 rolled over to DB-25m
Iam using hyperterminal on winxp to connect but I get no reply from the router.
The settings on the terminal are
9600 bps
data bits 8
no parity
stop bits 2
flow control none
Plus all the led lights on the router seem to be working. I think that ive followed all the basic procedures from cisco. So if you have any advice or links to sites that might help me, I would much appreciate. Thanks in advance.
