Trying to configure 1720. have 1 wic 10baseT card installed. One static ip is input to this interface ethernet0. Putting out dhcp thru the 10/100 ethernet jack which is the interface Fastethernet0. The sh int command shows both the ethernet0 & the fastethernet0 interafces to be up/up. Am attached via console cable/hyperterminal to config the router. From enable mode I can ping the yahoo ip address, but not yahoo.com. I can not ping anything from my laptop which is hooked to the 10/100 ethernet jack of the router thru a hub. I suspect something is missing in the configuration. -BD
