Hi All,

Just wondering if it is possible to bridge two networks using a Cisco 1601 router. I guess that the answer is no as there is only one ethernet device but wondering if you could configure the serial port on the router.

Can anybody throw any light on this?

Any help would be great!

Dan

You can add secondary IP addresses to ethernet ports which will allow the 1601 to route between the two networks.

int e0 (or whatever)
ip address x.x.x.x (netmask) secondary
