Comment:

Just wondering if anyone had taken the new CCNA certification, and what they thought about it. Mine's coming up here in the near future and I'm trying to feel it out a little. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Will do, bud. Wont be until a little later this year but from what I'm hearing from those who have taken it, it is really tough, and the toughest part is the time constraint. Apparently there are quite a few scenarios in which you have to diagnose reasons for lack of connectivity all the way from subnet/address assignment to protocol issues to cable issues. Sounds like its going to be interesting.

Also, from what I understand, there is an option to take the test in two parts that do not have to be taken back to back. When I get some more information I'll let you know.

yeah i heard that there is 2 tests avalible.
there is the full one that covers all 4 ccna topics then there is a split one that does 2 in each. so that will be double the ammount of questions if you go for the split.

i been asking about and some one also sggested that to pass you need above 80%.

and im not sure about the ccna but the ccnp tests uses the same type of online tests but the tests adapt to the person. so on the test if you dont get enough points in a question or area (for instance routing) then the next question will be about routing again. Making it even harder
