what is the difference between....
1/ cat5 100mhz standard
2/ cat5 200mhz enhanced
3/ cat5 350MHz UTP cable

also 24-gauge??? and Unshielded vs. shielded

I don't have all your info, but shielded wire is good for areas with heavy electrical interference. UTP means unshielded twisted pair, STP means shielded.

CAT 5 (the original kind, anyway) is good to 100 MBS, CAT 5e is for higher speeds.

I believe 24 gauge is the standard diameter for each conductor.
