cant view my local network

hi just recently i havent been able to view computers on my local network when i click on 'view work group computers' i get an error msg saying "Mshome is not acceessible. you might not have permision to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of the server to find out if u have access permisions. The network path was not found. "
i dont know why it was working perfectly fine last week and i havent changed anything with the settings. they're both on the same work group and i was able to access it before any idea what it is?
