I have a secured wireless network that has multiple devices currently working on it just fine. Suddenly my laptop can no longer find my wireless network, even when I'm in the same room as the router. My laptop can however find and connect to neighbours wireless networks. Xbox is the only other device in the house having the same problem.
It may be a channel problem. WiFi channels are very broad and have a lot of overlap. Download and run a wireless network such as inSSIDer, and compare signal strengths vs channels of your neighbors' networks. You want to choose a broadcast channel as far away as you can from the strongest competing network. It could be that a neighbor recently changed his settings.
