I have had wireless internet on my laptop working fine for the past six months. But this all changed once my brother tried to connect his xbox 360 to my laptop in order to reach xbox live. now my computer cant recognize the network and if it does, it says that im not allowed access. this is a private, home wireless internet thing, so i dont know why it wont let me use the internet.
that article did not help. my laptop can't recognize the router. it doesnt know that its a home network and it says that its a public unidentified network. I am so upset because i cant do my college work without my laptop being connected to the internet. someone, please help!
Go to router's management page and enable SSID broadcast setting (if it's disabled), after that test again.
forgive me, but I have no clue how to get there. XD i feel so stupid. ive never had a problem like this before
