I have win xp workstation. Using xp built- in VPN, I connect to remote PIX Firewall. Once I am connected, I use RDP to connect to remote terminal server where all the applications are installed. Once connection is established, I use the application called Insurance Pro from I can't print and also I can't print anything from that remote server. My Printer is local and been shared out. It is connected with USB port. I can print locally and also I can print from internet. Please someone can tell me why I can't print anything from remote server to local printer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ruhel

Pretty sure it is the remote desktop logon settings. See local resources tab.

It is possible that if you install the printer drivers on the host machine then it will then see the shared local printer.

I have seen this before, but the answer escapes me. If I remember correctly it has something to do with the TCP/IP settings and appending the local domain.

Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
