Hi
We have a network which I have configured to use netbios as the protocol to communicated with our server, TCP/IP us also installed and is setup not to bind to the microsoft network but is the default protocol.
I can access the network and internet without any problem but I can't ping from my windows 98 machine to other machines on my network or outside it. A DNS server is setup internally and a firewall as well.
Is there any problem in setting up this way? as I thought by doing this it will protect the shared data internally from going out to the internet.
