So, I can't ping the internet, but my drivers for wireless card appear to be working, and it says I am connected to my router, and I can even browse and download stuff off a P2P program. I am flabbergasted about what is going on here.

Does anyone have any ideas?

DNS.

Start with nslookup maybe.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
