I have a weird setup here. I have a dsl modem that connects to a switch, the switch then connects to a wireless router which then connects to another switch. I have 4 touchscreen desktops that have static ips, and 2 desktops that have 2 nic cards, one is set at static ips to communicate with the 4 touchscreen desktops and the other is set to dynamic ip's and recieves its ip address from the wireless router via a hardwire to connec to the internet. I can login to the admin panel of the wireless router and it has dhcp enabled, but it appears that the router is getting an ip address from the switch. The ip addresses for the computers connected to the router are in the range, the ip address of the admin panel for the router is and according to the admin panel, the ip address of the router is and that the default gateway is I am able to access the internet because I can connect to the computers via but when I try to go on internet explorer or firefox I cannot get to any website which lead me to believe the DNS was not working, so I changed the DNS to which is one I found from googling and I can now access websites. I'm trying to connect a DVR to the network now and it is not working properly. I have the DVR connected to the switch and have port forwarding set properly via the router and can access the DVR via its ip address from within the network but I can't access it from outside the network. I am trying to ping and I can not access it. I am so confused right now and don't know where to look to try to get things working again. Can someone please point me in the right direction to begin looking? I'm at my wits ends dealing with this. Please help.

Why don't you put everything on the same subnet & eliminate the dual NICs? To do that, you would connect the wireless router to the DSL modem & put the switches after the router. Make sure that only one device is running DHCPD.
